KABUL, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Fifty-six Afghan army soldiers have completed professional training and received graduation certificates from an army training center, the Afghan special forces command said on Friday.
"The graduates included 26 captains and 30 officers and soldiers, who have completed a special training course earlier this week, at the Rishkhor Special Operations Corps Military training center and joined Afghan Special Forces," Afghan National Army Special Operations Corps said in a statement.
At a ceremony held at the Rishkhor Garrison, Gen. Mohammad Farid Ahmadi, commander of Afghan National Army Special Operations Corps, said the new graduates should share what they have learned from their trainers with their colleagues to better meet the desires of the people of Afghanistan.
"The people of Afghanistan want peace and stability and this could be reached through your loyalty," Ahmadi was quoted as saying.
On Tuesday, a total of 314 soldiers have graduated from a military training course in the Afghan National Army's 203 Tandar Corps in eastern Afghanistan.
The graduation came as fighting rages amid growing insurgency across the country.
About 20 Afghan army personnel lost their lives during separate attacks since beginning of this month.
