At least 3 dead, 21 rescued after migrant boat sinks off western Greece: media

ATHENS, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Three people have lost their lives and 21 been rescued Saturday after a boat carrying a yet unknown number of refugees and migrants sank off the island group of Paxoi in western Greece, Greek national news agency AMNA reported.

News site in.gr reported, citing Coast Guard sources, that approximately 50 persons were on board when the boat capsized. A rescue operation was still underway.
