CHINGOLA, Zambia, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- Sport is said to be adding value to strengthening bilateral relations between China and Zambia especially with Zambian youth going to ply their professional football with Chinese clubs, a Zambian soccer pundit said on Monday.
Mulenga Mwaba, a Chingola based soccer expert said Zambian youth giving strong consideration to playing in the Chinese football league.
Speaking in an interview with Xinhua, Mwaba said sport is also adding value to strengthening bilateral co-operations between China and Zambia.
"The kind of relationship Zambia has with China is also on up-hill with Zambian youth interested to ply their professional football trade in China," he said.
And Mary Mwango said Zambia's friendship with China will keep on being strengthened in all sectors, including sports.
"Sport is also part of the sectors strengthening the bilateral friendship between the two countries, the move is also creating jobs for our people," she said.
Mwango is optimistic that Zambian skilled footballers were looking forward to playing in the Chinese league.
While, Aggrey Phiri, another youth said he also has ambitions of playing football for a Chinese club.
"If other Zambian youths have penetrated the Chinese clubs, I am also looking forward to be part of the Chinese league, what is important for me now is to do my best and be part of the national team," he said.
