THE HAGUE, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Explosions at two companies in Amsterdam and Kerkrade on Wednesday morning were caused by bomb letters, police said, reporting no injuries.
The first explosion occurred at the mailroom of a company in the west side of Amsterdam, and half an hour later a letter package exploded at a mail sorting company in the southern city of Kerkrade, according to police.
It is not yet known if both cases are related.
Some bomb letters had been delivered to several companies in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Maastricht in January. None of the letters exploded.
No arrests have been made.
