ACCRA, March 9 (Xinhua) -- At least 27 people were killed here early Monday near central Ghana's town of Kintampo, eye-witnesses have said.
According to eye-witnesses, two vehicles that traveled in opposite directions collided and caught fire immediately.
Mathias Tarsun, a member of the Kintampo Municipal Assembly, said the fire has been put out.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
