RABAT, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Moroccan Ministry of Health confirmed on Friday 58 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number to 333.
According to the ministry, 21 deaths from the COVID-19 were reported while 11 patients have recovered.
The most affected regions are Casablanca with 104 cases, Fes Meknes with 63 cases, and Rabat with 56 cases.
Morocco declared on Sunday a one-month state of medical emergency until April 20.
The North African country has closed all its land and sea borders, and suspended all international passenger flights starting March 15.
