5.4-magnitude quake hits Chagos Archipelago region -- USGS

WASHINGTON, April 10 (Xinhua) -- A 5.4-magnitude earthquake jolted Chagos Archipelago region at 1726 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 5.315 degrees south latitude and 68.6672 degrees east longitude.
