MOGADISHU, July 2 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and an unknown number injured in the latest explosion in Mogadishu on Friday evening.
The state-owned television reported that a suicide bomber blew himself up at a restaurant near Jubba junction in Shibis district of the capital Mogadishu.
"There was a blast at the Jubba intersection which was carried out by a man in a suicide vest. More details will be released later," said a police officer who declined to be identified.
The scene has since been sealed off by security forces who said investigation is underway to establish the cause of the blast. Enditem
