Cambodian PM visits Nepal to boost ties

KATHMANDU, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen arrived here on Thursday for a four-day official visit to Nepal.

This is the first official visit of the Cambodian prime minister to the Himalayan country. Hun Sen is visiting the country at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli.

The Cambodian prime minister and his Nepali counterpart will hold talks and exchange views on issues of mutual interest, according to a press statement issued by Nepal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

After the talks, the two sides will sign three bilateral agreements on air transport, visa exemptions and political consultations between the two foreign ministries, according to officials.

During the visit, Hun Sen will also attend the Asia-Pacific Summit 2018-Nepal on Dec. 1.
