ULAN BATOR, April 14 (Xinhua) -- A total of 200 newborn livestock have been killed in a fire in northern Mongolia, the country's National Emergency Management Agency said Wednesday.
The fire occurred in an "uvuljuu," or winter shelter, of a nomadic herder in Burentogtokh soum subdivision in Khuvsgul province on Tuesday, killing 50 goat kids and 150 lambs.
The emergency agency is urging citizens to guard against fires amid current dry conditions. Enditem
