Alitalia strike moves to Sep 6 after watchdog, transport ministry appeals

(ANSA) - Rome, July 24 - A 24-hour strike by Alitalia pilots and flight attendants has been put off from Friday until September 6, unions said Wednesday. The unions took the decision after appeals from the strike watchdog and the transport ministry. On Tuesday the ministry cut Friday's planned strike from 24 to four hours.
