ABIDJAN, June 2 (Xinhua) -- At least nine people were killed in a road accident involving an inter-urban bus on Saturday in Cote d'Ivoire's Azaguie, according to local media.
The accident occurred after the driver of the minibus lost control of the vehicle, which lurched several times before ending up in the ravine, the country's news outlet koaci.com said.
Nine people were killed in the accident and several others were injured, it said.
Careless driving and speeding are the main causes of road accidents in Cote d'Ivoire.
