Jingdezhen, which is widely known as "capital of porcelain," has been an important chinaware production and export base since Sui and Tang Dynasty (581-907). Its white and blue porcelains produced during Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) were exported to more than 40 countries and regions along the ancient Silk Road. In 2016, Jingdezhen's porcelain products were exported to 75 countries and regions with value of 256 million yuan (37.17 million U.S. dollars). Its 1,700-year ceramic culture also attracted a good many foreigners. (Xinhua/Wan Xiang)
