BEIJING, May 12 (Xinhua) -- Xinhua News Agency and the Joint UN Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) on Friday agreed to deepen cooperation on HIV/AIDS prevention and control.

The pledge came out of a meeting between Xinhua President Cai Mingzhao and UN Under Secretary General and Executive Director of UNAIDS Michel Sidibe.
