England beats Malta 4-0 in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier

VALLETTA, Sep. 1 (Xinhua) -- England beat Malta 4-0 to maintain their leadership in World Cup European zone qualifying Group F on Friday.

After 52 minutes, Harry Kane fire a right footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom left corner assisted by Dele Alli to give England a 1-0 lead.

In the 85th minute, Ryan Bertrand was on the scoresheet with a left footed shot from outside the box to the bottom right corner.

Finally,Danny Welbeck and Kane added two goals in injury time.

Malta team is in the bottom of Group F now. Next Monday it will play another game with Scotland.
