British cabinet agrees "collective" stance on post-Brexit deal

LONDON, July 6 (Xinhua) -- The British cabinet has reached a "collective" agreement on the basis of Britain's future relationship with the European Union (EU) after Brexit, a government statement said Friday.

"We therefore agreed to a more developed and comprehensive proposal for the economic partnership," according to the statement.

"At the core of this proposal is the establishment by the UK and the EU of a free trade area for goods," it said.
