WARSAW, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Poland's core inflation is expected to stand at 2.1 percent, while CPI will be at the level of 2.7 percent in 2019, according to the latest projection of the National Bank of Poland (NBP).

In comparison to the projection made in March, the core-inflation forecast has been lowered across the entire horizon, while the GDP growth forecast for 2018 has been increased.

Base inflation in 2018 is now expected at 0.8 percent, half the rate predicted four months ago. The 2019 and 2020 forecasts are down by 0.5 and 0.3 percentage points, respectively.

GDP growth is now on track for a 4.6 percent pace in 2018, up 0.4 percentage points from the March reading. But a gradual slowdown to a 3.8 percent reading in 2019 and a 3.5 percent in 2020 matches the prior view.

Poland's CPI will be at the level of 1.8 percent in 2018, 2.7 percent in 2019 and 2.9 percent in 2020, according to the NBP inflation projection.
