The forum is aimed at strengthening friendly relations between Mongolia and China by expanding communication and coordination between the media of the two countries, Kharkhuu Mandakhbayar told Xinhua.

Some 200 journalists and relevant officials from the two countries are expected to attend the forum.

The forum is part of a five-day culture and tourism event called "Feel China" focusing on Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China that also features exhibitions, cultural performances and screening of Chinese films across Mongolia.
