During the illegal weapons bust, members of the BiH State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) detected and temporarily seized a large cash of weapons and explosive devices, SIPA's official website showed Thursday.

Under the operation code-named "Jasen" and acting on the orders of the Main Court in Modrica, SIPA police officers raided one location in Modrica and found twelve hand bombs, two 60 mm mortar grenades, one M72 machine gun, a semi-automatic rifle, two unlicensed hunting rifles, 477 pieces of ammunition, 94 pieces of gun ammunition, 37 pieces of ammunition for hunting rifles and other military equipment.

One person was arrested and charged with manufacturing and distributing unauthorized weapons and explosive materials, and was taken to SIPA's premises for criminal prosecution, after which he will be handed over to the competent prosecutor's office, SIPA's website said.
