HARARE, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Thursday re-appointed his two vice presidents Constantino Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi.
The two were sworn into office by Chief Justice Luke Malaba at State House in the presence of Mnangagwa and other senior government officials.
Their swearing in follows Mnangagwa's inauguration on Sunday after the constitutional court dismissed opposition leader Nelson Chamisa's petition challenging his election victory in the July 30 polls.
Mnangagwa first appointed the two vice presidents in November last year when he took over from former president Robert Mugabe who resigned after a military intervention, ending his 37 years in power.
Mnangagwa is still to appoint his new cabinet.
Chiwenga is the former defense forces chief who led the military intervention which toppled Mugabe.
