JOHANNESBURG, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- At least 11 people were killed and over 30 others injured when a Zambian bus they were travelling in crashed in Limpopo, South Africa, on Monday.
"Eleven people are confirmed to be deceased," Makoma Makhurupetje, of Limpopo's transport authority, told Xinhua.
According to media reports, the crash occurred after one tire of the bus burst, forcing the vehicle to veer off the road and overturn.
Authorities are identifying the nationalities of the victims.
"Thirty people survived with slight injuries, but an additional nine, including a driver, were critically injured," Makhurupetje said.
