Brunei's National carrier introduces direct flights to two more Chinese cities

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Royal Brunei Airlines (RB), the sultanate's national carrier announced Saturday that it will commence direct flights to two more Chinese cities here.

At a ceremony to officially launch its newly purchased A320neo fleet at Brunei International Airport, Karam Chand, Chief Executive Officer of RB announced the commencement of twice weekly Haikou services from October 30 this year and twice weekly flights to Changsha from December 18 2018.

RB has announced several developments over the past few months, with the introduction of its non-stop flight to London from Brunei which is scheduled to begin at the end of October, and the introduction of China's Nanning, Hangzhou and Taipei to its route network.

RB currently operates a fleet of fourteen aircraft. By end of the year, RB will have seven A320neos, two A320ceos and five Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, making its fleet one of the youngest in the world.
