Blast at electoral campaign kills 8 in northern Afghan province

TALUQAN, Afghanistan, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- At least eight people were killed and over a dozen others injured after a blast ripped through an election gathering in Afghanistan's northern Takhar province on Saturday, local official Mohammad Jawad Hajari said.
