SARAJEVO, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) defeated Northern Ireland 2-0 in the capital Sarajevo in the fourth round the UEFA Nations League group stage on Monday.
After a low-intensity start to the match with many mistakes by both teams, Haris Duljevic from BiH who played in Edin Visca, couldn't find the back of the net in the 11th minute.
The visitors had a real chance to score in the 20th minute when George Saville hit the goalpost. Seven minutes later, after Jamal Lewis made a mistake, Edin Dzeko collected the ball to make the score 1-0 for BiH.
The second half saw intense play by the visitors, and in the 65th minute Gavin Whyte hit the goalpost from three meters out. In the 73rd minute, Miralem Pjanic found Dzeko who made no mistake to score the final goal of the match.
This is BiH's third victory in this competition, and their next fixture is against Austria in Vienna on Nov. 15.
