MOSCOW, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- At least four people were injured in an explosion of a projectile at an ammunition test site in southwest Russia's Samara region on Friday, local media reported.
Three people were slightly injured by fragmentation and another one suffered a more serious injury.
The accident occurred during the disposal of obsolete ammunition and was caused by non-compliance with safety regulations, according to preliminary information.
The explosion took place at the Privolzhsky State Ammunition Test Site, a strategic enterprise for testing a wide range of ammunition, weapons, military and special equipment.
