SARAJEVO, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Members of Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH's) State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested here on Friday two persons over illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs.

In cooperation with Croatian prosecutor's office, SIPA members found and seized some 20 kilograms of marijuana and speed narcotic drugs at the border crossings between BiH and Croatia, BiH prosecutor's office said in a statement Friday.

On the command of Court of BiH, two people were arrested in "Dim" code-named raids conducted at three locations in cities of Tuzla and Gracanica, some 140 kilometers northeast of the capital Sarajevo.

"Persons arrested are suspected of being involved, as an organized criminal group, in smuggling of large quantities of narcotics sold in the illegal drug market in BiH," BiH prosecutor's office stated.

"During this operation, a significant international cooperation with the judicial institutions of the Republic of Croatia was achieved,"the statement reads.

Suspects will be transferred to the acting prosecutor who will, after questioning, make a decision on further activities in the case.
