ISLAMABAD, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- One security personnel was killed and three others were injured in a landmine blast in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province on Thursday, local media reported.
According to security officials, the incident occurred when the personnel were searching an area in Kohlu district of the province after receiving information about planted landmines.
Following the incident, rescue teams and security forces rushed to the site and shifted the body and injured personnel to a nearby hospital in the district.
Security forces have blocked all roads leading to the area, fearing that there might be some more landmines planted in the area. The forces also launched a search operation with landmine detector devices to clear the area.
No group or individual has claimed the attack yet.
