Afghanistan condemns terrorist attack in Iran's Chabahar

KABUL, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Afghanistan has condemned in its strongest terms a terrorist attack that hit an Iranian city, said the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday.

According to the latest reports, at least three people, including the attacker, were killed and 48 others were injured in the attack in Iranian city of Chabahar on Thursday morning.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan condemns in the strongest possible terms, the terrorist attack that took place in Chabahar city of Iran, the ministry said in a statement.

The statement added that Afghanistan has made enormous sacrifices in its fight against terrorism which is "a common enemy of humanity."

The government of Afghanistan expresses its deepest condolences and sympathy in respect of the Iranian citizen's lives lost and those injured in this tragic incident and stresses the need for closer cooperation among states in fighting this common enemy, the statement said.
