YANGON, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- A 3.8-magnitude earthquake jolted Myanmar's Bago region late on Thursday, said a press release from the country's Meteorology and Hydrology Department.
The quake struck at 20:44:01 local time, the release said.
Its epicenter was 12.8 km southeast of Yae Ni in the region and 48.3 km southeast of Nay Pyi Taw, according to the seismological observatory.
No damage is reported so far.
