ISTANBUL, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- At least eight people were killed on Tuesday when a car capsized in northwestern Turkey.
The car skidded off the road and plunged into a stream in Tekirdag Province, the NTV broadcaster said.
Rescue teams have reached eight bodies, including four children, the report said, adding that the cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
The region has been under the impact of cold weather and heavy snowfall for a couple of days.
