LONDON, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- After the dramas of the FA Cup last weekend the Premier League returns with some crucial games around the relegation zone and a fascinating match at Wembley between Tottenham and Manchester United.

The clash between Spurs and a resurgent Manchester United is clearly the game of the week, but fans will have to wait until Sunday to see if Ole Gunnar Soljskaer's side can make it 6 wins in 6 games against Tottenham, who are just 6 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool.

The game promises to be a challenge for Tottenham's midfield pairing of Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko against Paul Pogba, who looks to have rediscovered his 'mojo' following Solskjaer's arrival at Old Trafford.

Elsewhere Harry Kane will look to carry on his fine recent form, while Marcos Rashford will provide pace in what is the biggest test for United since Jose Mourinho's departure.

Samir Nasri could return to action after an 18-month ban for receiving an intravenous treatment in the US in 2016 when West Ham United entertain Arsenal, one of his former clubs, in the first game of the weekend.

Arsenal coach Unai Emery has to decide whether to field Mesut Ozil, who is back at full training after injury, and Aaron Ramsey, whose move to Juventus at the end of the season was confirmed during the week.

League leaders Liverpool, who followed their narrow defeat to Manchester City with an FA Cup exit against Wolves, have a potentially tricky trip down to the south coast to face Brighton and Hove Albion.

Jurgen Klopp will want a convincing win to steady any nerves which have become shaky after those two defeats, although injuries to Dejan Lovren, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip mean he will look for that win with a makeshift defense.

Chelsea have a chance to strengthen their grip on the top-four with a home game against Newcastle United, who have taken just 2 points from their last 4 games and remain deep in the battle to avoid relegation.

There are two huge games in that battle on Saturday with second from bottom Fulham travelling to face Burnley at Turf Moor.

Burnley have recovered well from a 5-1 thrashing by Everton to win their last two games and such is the situation at the bottom of the table that another win would put clear air between Sean Dyche's team and the bottom three.

Cardiff City will also hope for a win when they entertain bottom of the table Huddersfield. Cardiff sit one place above the relegation zone and if Neil Warnock's men take all three points it would leave Huddersfield at least 8 points from safety.

Meanwhile third from bottom Southampton visit Leicester City, who have a habit of blowing hot and cold, before Sunday sees Everton entertain Bournemouth.

Everton coach Marco Silva will welcome a win after Everton's majority shareholder, Farhad Moshiri's recent comments that their current 11th place in the table, "isn't good enough."

Manchester City finish the round of games at home to Wolves on Monday night.
