RABAT, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- Two Moroccan nationals were wounded in a powerful explosion in the center of Paris on Saturday morning, said a report by the Moroccan official MAP news agency.
The two Moroccan tourists were rushed to a local hospital, where one of them is expected to undergo hand surgery, said the report, citing a Moroccan diplomatic source in Paris.
The Moroccan consular officials visited the two wounded and keep contact with the medical services, the report said.
Three people and dozens of others were injured in the blast that occurred in a closed bakery on the Rue de Trevise in the 9th district of Paris due to a suspected gas leak.
