6.8-magnitude quake hits 115km WNW of Sola, Vanuatu -- USGS

NEW YORK, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- A 6.8-magnitude earthquake jolted 115km WNW of Sola, Vanuatu at 18:06:34 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 13.422 degrees south latitude and 166.594 degrees east longitude.
