MUMBAI, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher on Monday.
Among sectors, energy, IT and pharma indices led the gainers, while auto, infra, FMCG and metal indices ended in red.
The benchmark S&P, BSE Sensex closed at 36,578.96, up 192.35 points or 0.53 percent compared to its previous close at 36,386.61.
