MOSCOW, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Moscow District Military Court sentenced 11 Islamic State terrorists to six to 18 years in prison on Wednesday, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said Thursday.
The prisoners were found guilty of preparing for terrorist acts, joining terrorist organizations, training for terrorist purposes, and illegally possessing weapons and explosives.
The 11 people were detained by FSB officers on Nov. 12, 2016 in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
