Migrants infighting breaks out in BiH city

SARAJEVO, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- An infighting among over 200 migrants broke out late Friday night in a reception center in Bihac, about 310 km northwest of the capital Sarajevo, local media reported on Saturday.

The fight has caused some 20 migrants injured and 11 deprived of liberty, including eight Afghans, two Indian and one Pakistani, an official spokesman told local media.

Two policemen were badly wounded in the fight, which also caused significant material damages in the Bira reception center.

A total of 23,902 migrants have been registered on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period from January to December last year, mainly from Pakistan (7,770), Iran (3,663), Syria (3,017), Afghanistan (2,780) and Iraq (2,184).
