TOKYO, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, largely in line with its levels in London overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.61-62 yen compared with 110.50-60 yen at 4 p.m. in London and 110.54-56 yen at 5 p.m. in Tokyo on Monday.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1311-1311 dollars and 125.11-12 yen against 1.1300-1310 dollars and 125.00-05 yen in London and 1.1306-1308 dollars and 124.98-125.02 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
Financial markets in the United States were closed on Monday for a national holiday.
