HONG KONG, March 4 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake of 5.9 magnitude jolted 43 km east of Madang, Papua New Guinea on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 5.2349 degrees south latitude and 146.188 degrees east longitude.
