VIENTIANE, March 9 (Xinhua) -- Bounnhang Vorachith, general secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and president of Laos, has vowed to further advance the building of a community of shared future with China.
Bounnhang made the pledge on Thursday while meeting with a delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) led by Wang Yajun, vice minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
Laos has attached great importance to the communication and cooperation with China, Bounnhang said.
For his part, Wang Yajun said the important consensus reached by the two parties' general secretaries will be implemented so as to jointly build the China-Laos community of shared future and bring benefits to the two peoples.
