NAIROBI, March 28 (Xinhua) -- China's telecom giant Huawei Technologies, in conjunction with Redington Gulf, a Kenyan information technology (IT) solutions distributor, has presented awards to 43 best performing local partners.
The event held on Wednesday evening accorded Huawei a platform to exhibit the latest leading information and communication technologies (ICT) where partners also shared their experiences on how to grow their businesses in Kenya.
The 43 awards were given out in areas such as network energy products, enterprise network products, IT products, training partner and expert contributors.
Stone He, the CEO of Huawei Technologies Kenya, said working with Redington Gulf and all partners in the Kenyan ICT sector has enabled Huawei to bring ICT equipment and services to local businesses, which has helped them to fast track their digital transformation and adapt to their business needs.
Following the signing of a framework distribution agreement in 2018, Huawei and Redington Gulf have strived to provide innovative equipment including data center facilities, IT and communications hardware and software for the Kenyan market.
