NEW DELHI, March 29 (Xinhua) -- At least eight people were killed and 30 others injured Friday morning when a bus rammed into a truck in the outskirts of Indian capital city Delhi, police said.
The accident took place on Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida.
"This morning at around 5:00 local time a double-decker bus carrying passengers rammed into a truck on the expressway killing eight on the spot and injuring 30 others," a police officer said.
"The injured have been rushed to the nearest hospital, where the condition of some of them was reported to be critical."
Police officers said the death toll is likely to increase.
