AMMAN, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Jordan on Sunday condemned the terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka, which killed more than 130 people and injured 500.

Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said on his official Twitter account: "Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the ugly terrorist attacks against innocent worshippers and civilians in Sri Lanka."

"Our deepest condolences... We strongly condemn these horrific crimes as we stand together in the fight against terrorism and its ideology of hate," Safadi said.

At least 138 people were killed and nearly 500 hospitalized from injuries in multiple church and hotel explosions in Sri Lanka on Sunday, the country's information department, quoting hospital sources, said.
