Malaysia's palm oil stock falls 6.62 pct in April

KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia's palm oil inventory fell 6.62 percent month-on-month to 2.73 million tonnes in April, official data showed Friday.

According to the data released by Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), crude palm oil production for the month also dropped 1.36 percent month-on-month to 1.65 million tonnes.

Palm oil exports rose 2.02 percent month-on-month to 1.65 million tonnes.

Malaysia's palm oil prices remained low at 1,912.50 ringgit (about 460 U.S. dollars) per tonne as of Thursday, according to MPOB.
