Light plane crashes on to road in Wales: report

LONDON, May 12 (Xinhua) -- A dual carriageway in Wales has been closed as a light aircraft crashing on to the road, Sky News reported on Sunday.

Emergency services are dealing with a police incident on the A40 road between Raglan and Abergavenny in Wales, according to local police.

But police have not given details of the incident. They suggested that drivers avoid the area if possible and find alternative routes for their journey.

Sky News quoted one Twitter user as saying that a "plane has crashed on the A40 south of Abergavenny" and that there was "a private landing strip nearby".
