MINSK, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Belarus plans to get the access of more food products, including vegetables, fruits, flour and honey, to China, Aleksey Bogdanov, head of Foreign Economic Activity Department of Belarus' Agriculture and Food Ministry, told local media on Monday.

The Belarusian side is working on certification and opening supplies of vegetables, fruits, flour, honey and dairy products to the Chinese market, Bogdanov said.

The two countries are also negotiating to add two more enterprises to the list of meat processing plants exporting beef to China, the official said.

In the first quarter of 2019, exports of Belarusian agricultural products to China amounted to 15.3 million U.S. dollars, which is 2.7 times more than that in the same period last year, according to the official data.

In 2018, Belarusian exports of agricultural products to China amounted to 82.5 million dollars, and the country is planning to increase its exports to China up to 90 million dollars in 2019.
