WASHINGTON, June 14 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Friday announced the lineups for the party's first presidential debates scheduled later this month in Miami, Florida.

According to a list released by the DNC on Twitter, former Vice President Joe Biden, the top-polling candidate, will debate Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Kamala Harris, Mayor of Indiana's South Bend Pete Buttigieg, and six others on June 27.

Senator Elizabeth Warren, another top contender, will join nine other hopefuls on June 26.

The stage lineups were determined via random draw.

Where the candidates will stand on stage each night has not yet been determined.

The DNC on Thursday announced 20 candidates qualified for the debates, the first of a dozen it has planned for the primary.

They have either had at least 1 percent support in three qualifying polls or received donations from at least 65,000 unique donors. Most of them have met both requirements.

The first debates will be hosted by NBC News, MSNBC and Telemundo at Miami's Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
