SEOUL, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Seoul shares opened higher Tuesday.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) added 4.27 points, or 0.21 percent, to trade at 2,086.75 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
South Korea's currency was quoted at 1,181.4 won against the U.S. dollar, down 2.1 won from the previous close.
