KIEV, July 16 (Xinhua) -- An agreement on captives exchange between Ukraine and Russia was reached during a meeting of the advisers to the Normandy Four leaders, Vadym Prystaiko, deputy head of Ukrainian president's office, said during a briefing on Tuesday.
"We agreed to exchange a certain number of our captives within a month," the official said.
He noted that specific exchange conditions, the number of people and the names of captives had not been discussed.
The official pointed out that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had talked about "10 for 10" and "15 for 15" captives exchange formats and that the talks were not focused on the number of people but about unblocking the exchange process to get "all for all" format.
Prystaiko explained that providing specific names and details of the exchange process is within the competence of ombudsman and Trilateral Contact Group's humanitarian subgroup.
Ukrainian ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova on Monday held a meeting with her Russian counterpart Tatiana Moskalkova during her visit to Kiev and discussed the prospects of the possible exchange of the captive Ukrainians and Russians.
