LAS VEGAS, the United States, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Woodworking manufacturing professionals from worldwide gathered in Las Vegas this week to explore new opportunities at the 2019 AWFS (Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers) Fair, North America's largest gathering of woodworking equipment and technology.
The four-day event, which runs from Wednesday to Saturday, has attracted leading exhibitors from the entire home and commercial furnishing industry, such as manufacturers and distributors of machinery, hardware, lumber, construction, materials and other supplies to furniture, cabinet manufacturers and custom woodworkers.
Jennifer Evans, marketing manager at the AWFS, told Xinhua that about 640 manufacturers and suppliers from home and overseas in various sectors including machinery and hardware joined the international trade fair, to build their businesses and explore cooperation.
AWFS also offers attendees educational seminar programs of the industry, and will present awards for the winners of the AWFS Fresh Wood Student Woodworking Competitions.
The fair is held every two years, bringing professionals of global woodworking industry together for an in-depth review of the new developments and advances that are driving the woodworking market.
