KIEV, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian politician Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the Fatherland party, gave her vote during snap parliamentary elections in Ukraine on Sunday.
After voting at a polling station in Kiev, Tymoshenko urged Ukrainians not to make an emotional choice, but to choose with "heart and mind."
She announced her support for Volodymyr Zelensky's party in the new parliament and said that her party is ready to form a coalition.
"I think that our team, as anybody, is ready for action. We have a program and strategy for Ukraine's development, and our team is ready to take up work immediately," said Tymoshenko.
The parliamentary elections set for Sunday were originally scheduled for October 27 this year.
